I am quoting this sentence verbatim... "Siae is born and remains on the side of those who create, as its historic motto states: without it, in fact, every artist would find themselves facing the battle alone to ensure that an 'immaterial' right, such as that of their own creativity, is protected and rewarded."
I believe that SIAE is nothing more than a lobby and, like all lobbies, it manages the big slice of bread, giving the artist the leftover crumbs.
I do not know precisely what the division percentages are, but from what I am told, the royalties are truly ridiculous. To summarize: they earn every year from membership fees, they earn every year from artists by withholding a large percentage of the revenue. Where is this phantom benefit for the artist? In what way would this, given the phantom motto of 'knights of the round table', be on the side of those who create?

In fact there isn't, and besides certain deposit procedures are not only outdated, they are ridiculous; just think of the one regarding screenplays.
