I use Sibelius 7 on a MacBook Air, I downloaded NotePerformer to get better sounds but I can't set it up to produce any sound; in other words, everything is silent, unless I go back to the original sounds. What should I do?

I don't use NotePerformer and I have Sibelius 6 but, reading the website, you have to deactivate a series of functions: live playback, live tempo, and any other MIDI message you have inserted to "humanize" the playback. This is because NotePerformer should reprocess the reading of individual phrases to play them back in its own way, and it might even be that it doesn't work because of this...

In any case, if wanting to proceed with a step-by-step verification, one would have to observe the mixer during playback: do the LEDs react, or not? And what happens if, on the same score, you deactivate NotePerformer (it will certainly be possible to do so)?

P.S. I didn't understand one thing: you write about "better sounds" and about "returning to the original sounds", but NotePerformer is not a sound library: if I'm not mistaken, it should simply read the phrases "interpreting them" with the sounds you already have.

Sorry, I didn't understand anything... I just went to take a closer look and I saw that, in fact, it is a full-fledged sound library. At this point, I assume there might also be a localization issue with the library. But, since I haven't downloaded it, I don't know what problems there might have been regarding it.
