Sites to download individual instrument sounds for free

I am doing some research (I started from a refill for Reason, it consists of very well-made solo violin and cello sounds, the cost is truly

ridiculous, but the site from which it would have been possible to download them by purchasing them is not online, so I started looking around a bit, and since my motivation

comes mainly when there is something to build, with these individual samples you can create mappings and "create" complete sounds) and I

found these free sites:

You can download the .zip files containing the available articulations; they aren't all there and some recordings contain two/three sounds in a row,

so they need to be cut and processed, but that is what I was looking for (at least I was), I am more interested in these real samplings than the sounds already prepared

by companies.

Of course, the hard part is putting all the dynamics together, but I know how to do it anyway.

Not only that, almost none of the samplings have a reasonable duration for certain types of passages, but by working on them they could be

not bad.

There is also this site, years ago I had already downloaded these sounds, but I hadn't mapped them; you can also find the files already zipped but the download

won't start for me:

Warning, some samplings are damaged anyway, and only 2 articulations are available.

I am thinking of making a Kontakt library with Pianoexpert's Steinway Mod. B; perhaps it would be a good idea to open a separate thread.

In particular, given my not perfectly adequate equipment, and since this is also the first time I am attempting to create a sampled sound library, I might offer it for free, perhaps only opening the possibility of a donation to be used as support for site maintenance, provided that things go as I have in mind...

However, there is one thing holding me back... I cannot find any texts on Kontakt scripting. If any of you have any reference texts, please let me know; it would be a pleasure. If I don't find anything, I will have to open some existing libraries and do a bit of reverse engineering, starting from the script to work my way back to its functionality. I've already taken a look; it looks a lot like Fortran as a language, but object-oriented, having classes and objects that are already usable, such as on_event_note.

If you search Google for "scripting in Kontakt" a lot of tutorials pop up

Yes I had already seen them, but all very incomplete, certainly not suitable for making a proper library. It doesn't say how to extend the velocities starting from a certain number of sampling layers... In short, something is mentioned in the script, but very little or nothing at all.
