Some musical instruments photographed from the inside

The photos were created with extreme care for details and lighting. They even look like photographs of futuristic living environments. Who knows if someone won't take the idea for future designs of concert halls and music-dedicated spaces!

Very beautiful, even if I don't understand which photographic lenses can fit inside there to take such suggestive photographs.

From an organological point of view, instruments are studied using a wide variety of methods; apart from carbon-14 (which unfortunately requires the destruction of part of the instrument), other techniques can be used such as endoscopy, X-rays, dendrochronology and, although very expensive, CT scans which show all the layers of an instrument (thinking of historical instruments, information can be obtained that could not be obtained otherwise, see for example the discussion on glue and varnishes).

Irina, I don't know how they obtained these photos, but an endoscopy allows one to capture spaces much narrower than a musical instrument ...perhaps it turns out that these photos are 3D digital reconstructions; consider that today technology allows for printing a Stradivarius in 3D using PVC. Perhaps there was also an old topic that dealt with the subject.

I have seen some 3D house interiors on the web. If it hadn't been written that they were 3D, perhaps I would have mistaken them for real photos. They were too perfect...
