The pro and con lies in the seasoning of the woods and how the hole is treated during numerous tunings

the link does not open. The Bechstein has a visible soundboard. other brands have the soundboard closed by the plate. But there is not much difference. They are design prerogatives

Can you tell me what the "configuration" of modern pianos is called where the soundboard is at the bottom and above it there is the cast iron frame fixed to the underlying soundboard via screws?
