In these days I have noticed the appearance of a significant number of commercial posts of dubious origin that have little to do with the forum.

But are those who send them regular forum members, or have they found a cross-cutting way to gain access?

Dear friends, it is exactly like this, we are under attack. Yesterday the system blocked more than 200 registrations from spammers... I am trying to take measures. The problem is that some of these users are not bots, they are real users who complete the registration procedure and come here to post advertisements.

Obviously, in the end, we will win...

In my day, people went after women; of course they have absolutely nothing to do... anyway

I am trying to tighten the anti-spam controls, but I wouldn't want that by making them too strict, real users would also have difficulty signing up.

At worst we'll call him SPALM-man... The one who smears the.... in the face of Grandi Elio!

But nowadays, where is the man who isn't a bit misogynistic, even being hetero?

I did quite a bit of cleaning; among other things, we had more than 100 spammer members to delete and we dropped below 1900 users

Thank goodness...

Regarding the link, if it is copyright-protected material I must ask you to remove it, otherwise it's fine where it is. In either case, thanks for sharing

mmm... I'll tell you, they are publications or excerpts from Japanese magazines, I believe all OOP; for example, the transcriptions of the 2 Jarrett standards were sold for years at Birdland as photocopies...

Maybe in Jazz they are more visible to those interested. Here inside the spam discussion, perhaps there are people who don't even enter to read and are missing all this stuff...
