Dearest PIANOEXPERT, I would like your wise advice on how to prevent my wall piano from an attack by "parasites" moths and woodworms... I read somewhere that someone empirically solved the moth problem by putting half a cigar inside the piano, because according to this person such insects "flee" from the smell of tobacco, but what about woodworms??........

Thanks again........

A big hello

Woodworms don't smoke!!!! Jokes aside. Just put a little piece of camphor in the piano. But only when it is not played for a long period. In fact, when the piano plays... the woodworms go dancing somewhere else!!!!! Bye

I remembered this thing too... A small footnote... Over the years, camphor wears out and needs to be replaced. In addition to being a moth repellent, it also has a great mentholated scent.
