Between the late fifties and the mid-sixties, Rome was an artistically very vital city.
The cultural revolution that had taken hold was not limited to renewing artistic expressions,
but called into question the very forms of consuming works.
In the listening workshop, this critique of traditional ways of listening will be retraced
taking, for example, the music proposed at the Nuova Consonanza Festival
and the paintings exhibited at the Rome-New York Art Foundation
Music by the Gruppo di Improvvisazione Nuova Consonanza, Morton Feldman and others.
