a few days ago I attended a beautiful concert in my town, by a big band that performed
some Sun Ra tracks. beautiful music, there is nothing to say, complex and visionary like the author (Sun Ra) about whom I know very, very little (except for the fact that he used the same boutique in Divine Othelma! ;-P). do you know if a biography of Sun Ra is available on the market?

Bad luck ScalaQuaranta... at least for today. The best material is of American origin... and especially in this field.
Wiki cites the text already indicated; if there had been anything else, you would have at least recovered a title from there.
