Posting in the Composition section. I don't know if it is the most suitable section.

I was thinking during the composition phase of a piece for piano.

And I was wondering if there is a notation within the Piano context that indicates the depressing of the Sustain Pedal and its incomplete release, so as to keep the note or notes just played still "alive" and by depressing it again (the sustain) to continue playing other notes, etc...

Let me explain better. I play an octave of C in the bass of the piano with the pedal down, I release it just a little to still hear those Cs as an "echo" (I don't want to hear their sound in full), I depress the sustain pedal again and meanwhile move towards the highs with both hands and play something in F#+, creating a dissonance. Just to give an atmosphere of unease. That's all.
