The spirit of the Dionysian irrational opposed to Apollonian rationality. Dionysus is the god of music, of theater makers and bacchanals, he who represents the impetus of the senses whereas Apollo is harmony and balance.
A my "Dionysian Taranta" composed in the mode most used within Dionysian culture, the Phrygian.

I find the piece very interesting in its hypnotic rhythmic form. I love free expressions made with any type of instrument; the problem then is always managing to put them on paper.

Thank you.

In effect, that is the problem; one could use a digital piano connected to a computer, I tried it but with the sound of the digital piano I can't get anything out, it kills my creativity.

Old school too?? Wood and felt are great inspirations regardless; you know that for me, even just the woody smell inside the soundboard was very inspiring?? I'm sick [with it].
