Hi guys, I'm new, my name is Vincenzo. I wanted to ask you: I have an 11-year-old sister and I would like to teach her how to play the piano, since I have also been asked by other parents who have children aged 6-7; how could I start teaching them to play? I am building a study plan to start; for now, I have only included the Bastien method level 1, is this okay for the first month of lessons? For example, when could I include Czerny or Bach? I should mention that I am attending a three-year degree program at a conservatory, so I have been studying for quite a while and I want to teach children without receiving any income; I do it out of passion. I like the idea of children approaching a piano without their parents pushing them, but doing it of their own will.
If any of you already have teaching experience and can write me some book titles so that I can teach them to others, I would be grateful.
Thank you.
