I was given this Steinert piano; I have noticed that I find it harder to play because the action does not have a fluid movement; when pressing the key softly, it doesn't reach the strings at all and stops early. I checked on a good upright piano that I have and it shouldn't be like this, because even when pressing the key softly, the hammer should reach the string and not stop beforehand.
