Hi, can you suggest some jazz harmony or improvisation texts? .... but translated into Italian. I mean the ones you consider the best.
Thanks.

Among the best are those by Levine, translated into Italian

There is also Jim Grantham, who isn't bad....

What do you think of Susanna Gramaglia's jazz theory and harmony?

Perhaps it is the most suitable to start with.
Then one can move on to Levine, which is decidedly more complete.

I don't remember where and when... maybe in this very forum... but I heard that Levine's text has been (or is about to be) translated
in Italian. For me, who chews English like a toothless person chews a crunchy snack... it would be the end of the world!

When I was looking for you in Chat, it was precisely for this; I discovered thanks to DrJellyfish that there are Italian versions of Levine... I don't know if they are already available in PDF... but...

It really seems to me that they cannot be found in PDF; in any case, as a pianist, I would lean towards the Jazz Piano Book, the other one doesn't say substantially different things and seemed more generic to me.
In this case, I think that purchasing the hard copy is worth it; after all, for studying, it remains the best format.
