I only know that the Chantilly code is one of the most extensive late medieval codes. The subject intrigues me, do you have any suggestions regarding it?

All of his works are secular and his texts are in French. His style is late medieval, rich in rhythmic complexity (see Ars Subtilior, by today's definition) and in particular, his style also presents subtle harmonic combinations that flow into one another.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to find any biographical information on Solage today. It is possible to reconstruct fragments of his life by reading the texts of his pieces and to locate him in musical history by analyzing the style of his works.
