Dearest Pianoexpert, reading the very interesting manual by Max Matthias, a Steinway technician, I read regarding upright pianos that adopt a hammer-lifting rod for the "PIANO" mechanism instead of adopting the classic hammer-bar lever seen in your tutorials.... could you kindly tell me the pros and cons of such a choice???
