The largest punk museum in the world is in Venice

The Punk movement was born in the mid-seventies, a period of great changes in rock music; one moved from the social commitment of historical groups to that which was somewhat nihilistic and defeatist of the more fashionable punk groups, see for example the Sex Pistols, or the Ramones. Personally, I was rooting for The Clash, the famous London group, always on the front lines in social battles.
