For over a year and a half, an embarrassing anomaly has weighed on the Italian radio market: the Audiradio consortium, which managed the detection of listenership data, split after a series of technical failures regarding the credibility of such data, and therefore since 2010 there has been no useful information on the success or failure of this or that radio station, or this or that program. The system has been laboriously and slowly reorganized – still amidst controversy and dissent – and today the company Eurisko has published the first “Radio Monitor” data collected under the new course.
