hi everyone,

by any chance would you be able to pass me (or suggest some links from which I can download) the midi format backing track of the "Pirates Of The Caribbean" soundtrack? in particular, I was looking for the main theme, the most catchy one, ternary time, minor key, basically the one common to all three episodes of the trilogy.

thanks

thank you all for your contributions.

to tell the truth, however, I can't do much with your suggestions because, as I had previously stated,

i need a midi file, as I would like to modify some tracks, add others, delete even more,

modify the tempo (bpm), change the key, and only after having performed these operations convert it into an audio file (mp3, wav, aiff, or others).

with logic i would only be able to change the tempo and the key, but for the rest I really don't think so.

unless.... I have always wondered: can an audio file (mp3, wav, etc.) be converted into a midi file?

A bit of order.

You have the YT links, so you also have mp3 wav

You have a substantial part of the score (the part that interested you) which you can put into Finale/Sibelius and create the midi

There are utilities, but then it depends on what you need to do with the midi file ...

I thank you once again for the kind suggestions but...

probably my musical-computing knowledge is not as advanced as I thought! ;-P

i listened to the backing track and read the score contained in the video; the theme I intended is that one, and so far so good.

what I am still struggling to understand is: where is the midi file? or rather (hoping to be more precise) where should I go

to find the .mid extension file?

what I seemed to hear from the suggested videos is a midi file (which uses low-quality sounds, presumably those

contained in a classic sound card without great pretensions) CONVERTED into an audio file.

now, tell me where my understanding still fails to reach:

i am looking for the midi file, i.e., a file that, when opened with Logic, displays the various tracks (percussion, bass, strings, wind instruments, etc.) on the screen, which I can then directly work on.

In my opinion, if you download them, the midis come down, then you upload them wherever needed.

... chiedi ... e ti sarà dato 😃

Scherzi a parte, è una bella comodità sopratutto il file "Pirates_Of_The_Caribbean__Curse_Of_The_Black_Pearl.mid"

😃

Bella la prima proposta di Lupino 😉
