I haven't quite fully understood the properties of the symbol " ° " used to indicate harmonics yet; I particularly need it for the harp, it is clearer to me on flutes, but on strings it is a delirium.
How do you behave or how should one behave?

For the harp, write the note an octave below the real one with the symbol " ° " above it; in reality, you can also use the diamond (filled), which is used for the third of a string, for the twelfth (octave + fifth)

Think that the symbol °, for bows, would mean open string.
