To make you smile a little, here are (in my opinion) the three most recurring phrases from students:
- in third place: "I just can't get this part right, I've been trying all week"
- in second place: "no but now I'm going to buckle down and catch up on everything"
- in an undisputed and clear first place: "BUT IT USED TO COME TO ME AT HOME"

After a continuous period of time, I am continuing this post because if a large number of students (including myself) make the same statement, it would be necessary to look for a serious explanation for all of this.
What I would like to understand better is why, when performing a piece at home, everything flows more or less well, but once in front of the professor, starting from the very first bars, errors and total blocking begin!
Could it be a matter of excessive 'tension'? Or is it just poorly executed practice?
For me, it remains a mystery...

Dear Antonio, the things a Master is able to "control" are far greater in number than what a student can do, so it is normal that some "trouble" always pops up during a lesson.
Summarizing in one word: Control (of the work done)
... which only a master can do
