Then he always talks about rules, not that I mind, but I was reading that Jazz cannot be taught ... if there are rules, it can always be taught. No!?

From a general point of view, if we take a chord such as D- not placed within a harmonic context, it is clear that the scales we can ally with said chord are various. However, if we contextualize this D- in a piece and therefore in a key, the choice of scales is significantly reduced to one, two........will the computer be able to "understand" the key and make the right choice, or will it merely imitate? Certainly, a key signature can be given to the computer, but tonality is a concept that goes beyond a key signature.

I don't think I truly understood what you mean; surely the computer will follow pre-packaged paths. If today, as it is now, artificial intelligence can tackle semantic discussions... let alone asemantic ones.

However, it clearly shows the set of evaluations upon which ear/intellect/conscience are based to make music... a PC is an automaton, it has no taste; to do something it needs to be instructed (precisely) with thousands of rules.... otherwise, garbage comes out ...even if limited.

At least in my opinion, what do you think?
