This tomb, discovered in 1873 and composed of two chambers, is one of the most famous and studied. It is certainly the most original due to the nature of the subjects which express an exclusive indigenous cultural value. The protagonist of the back wall of the second chamber is nature, with the sea and sky populated by birds and dolphins; on the waves a small fishing boat and on a rock a hunter equipped with a sling trying to hit the birds. On the pediment of the same wall, a banquet scene is painted. In the first chamber, also on the back wall, scenes of dancing and outdoor games are represented, while in the pediment the return from the hunt is drawn. Monterozzi Necropolis, 6th century BC.
