i would like to open a topic to examine and share opinions regarding tuning APPS.
Personally, I have installed on my Android 4.3 the apps:
1) gStrings
2) Piano Tuner (Tunelab app http://www.tunelab-world.com/atl.html)
Free versions can be found.
Regarding gStrings, I can say that it did not seem to be up to the standard of Tunelab (the second program listed). Firstly, I did not find any noteworthy "user-level" documentation. Secondly, it freezes for me in several circumstances.
On the second program: piano Tuner, I would suggest referring to the already open TuneLab post. There is not much to say other than what we have already encountered.
However, I find this app quite complete and reliable for amateur applications or even professional ones when combined with excellent experience and ear. PDF manuals are available online that explain more than necessary relative to the needs of the average user in about thirty pages.
Does anyone else have experience with these two APPS or others?
