Hello everyone, I am here to ask you a question that might seem trivial.
However, I am curious to hear about your experiences.
To tune, I use the classic Yamaha wrench, with a rather short and heavy handle. When I reach the last octave of the extreme highs, I adopt the trick of walking around the piano with the bench to have a more comfortable position... however, it happens that in some models (like the Yamaha C3), the handle of the wrench hits the lid support, so I am forced to further rotate the position of the wrench on my ankle and pass my right arm beyond the lid support... all this is uncomfortable, especially if you have to reach the octave with the left hand... well, nothing transcendental, you just need a little more patience.....but I wanted to ask if any tuners adopt a more practical solution, such as using a wrench with a very short handle in that section...
