You're welcome. It will remain an unheard and stigmatized opinion, as is already happening, because certain people "cannot be touched." It's happening, it's happening. It is not the first time that Carusi has gone hard on Barenboim. Aside from these reports which have little to do with music, what is musical instead concerns personal tastes.

I remember that Carusi also went hard on him when Don Giovanni, conducted by Barenboim himself, was broadcast live on RAI. There, I did not agree at all. Unfortunately, I missed the live broadcast, but I prepared myself to watch it again on YouTube.

I think Barenboim has lost many points as a pianist; it almost seems as if he is studying less as a pianist now and is devoting more effort to conducting.

What I reproach him for, then, is this: if you are giving yourself to conducting and practically nothing to the piano, avoid recording piano albums. The last one, of which I listened to a couple of tracks and some previews, I found horrendous. Definitely not at his level.

have you listened to Carusi? Maybe not... here he talks about Abbado (Barenboim just mentioned) and Abbado's idea of "integrating" the Orchestra della Scala with the Mozart, moreover by changing the principal parts of the resident orchestra with those of the guest orchestra...

In fact, I wrote: "aside from these reports which have little to do with music". Meaning, therefore, that I agree with Carusi regarding the mixing of the orchestras, which can certainly have an impact on musicality; I then commented on some of Carusi's posts about Barenboim, which I did not agree with much... My post was therefore directed more as an appreciation/criticism toward Carusi rather than toward Abbado and Barenboim
