Two-Voice Invention

I've been looking for a way to improve my piano technique, specifically regarding arpeggios and scales. Does anyone have any recommendations for exercises or perhaps a specific method?

I like it very much, it is detailed and the listening experience is very pleasant.

I would like to see the score in particular to check two specific points: 20'' and 1' and 23'' ... if I wanted to describe these two details. Thank you.

I think you can attach any type of file, the other guy used jpg images, but I don't think PDFs wouldn't work either. Using the full editor, it seems you can attach any type of file

I used Quantum Leap Pianos by East West; this would be the Bösendorfer (without track equalization).

Truly, Frank, it was a study exercise from a few months ago on delays and appoggiaturas; since as a self-taught musician I had a more rigid (or fearful) vision of what could or could not be done, when I studied the Piston chapter with my teacher, I wanted to see its application in this genre. In reality, I had posted the piece on YouTube more to share the photos on Fb than the music (so much so that, at first, I had put a Gregorian chant there). Therefore, that it is smooth and enjoyable seems like a great compliment to me...!

You are right about the difficulty of following the video; it was an oversight on my part: I should have synchronized the images with the music, and the result would certainly have been to emphasize both aspects (visual and sound) mutually. The rhythm of the editing is a fundamental thing, which is why you feel (rightly) the need to follow the sound separately from the images (and vice versa).

Absolutely not, they aren't...! Rules are born from taste, not from who-knows-what commissions: they are tools for making music, not constraints that prohibit it, in the same way that knowing grammar and syntax helps one express oneself better, rather than remaining silent. Therefore, after many years, I am very happy to have started studying.

Who knows why, people always think that harmony books explain what cannot be done, instead of teaching how to better express what one wants to...
