I have a Steinway O 180, this morning while I was practicing, the pedal of one string got stuck, meaning that after releasing it the keyboard remained shifted to the right and strangely by pressing the right pedal it returned to its place, what could have happened? I tried a thousand times and most of the time it remained stuck

It certainly won't be serious, but to solve the problem it needs to be seen in this case...
Anyway, it's strange that the right pedal makes it retract; are you sure nothing fell or got stuck inside? The damper rail rests on wooden supports and in no case touches the keyboard block. Does the tonal pedal work correctly instead?
in fact, I don't understand the relationship with the right pedal, at the moment I am studying without one string, after the holidays I will call a tuner, even if this is a real problem, I hope to find one that satisfies me this time!!!
