Here is that piece I was talking about today; I am playing it only to highlight how

I feel like writing during this period, unlike a few years ago when I used to do these things.

All the instruments, except for the piano, are from East West.

In the finale, I specifically wanted to use the low register of the cello; I like the timbre of this instrument (and not

just this one) which seems to graze the string; back then it gave me a sharper sensation, now a bit less, but it remains.

During that period, the desire to do something more linear and calm was already beginning to manifest, and the pieces I have

played for you lately demonstrate this: simpler, but also more "compact" as far as they can be, and I guarantee

that the majority are not, even upon listening it is evident.

Oh, now this is what I like!!!

i think that with careful editing around 4/5' it could become a beautiful atonal adagio.

i say this because after a while this music begins to spin in on itself and loses effectiveness, becoming a bit too... how should I put it... "undefined"

i am speaking of adagio because I would omit the agitated parts, which feel stereotypical both in their wild chaos and in the "ex abrupto" entries, which are very predictable... (which are very present at the beginning and then get lost)

instead, the calm parts are nonetheless rich in elements and can be followed without monotony, as if there were a common thread.

that's my opinion ...

It's true, there are often dispersive ideas; that is exactly the problem I have always carried with me, difficult to explain, or rather better,

to make acceptable (first of all to myself, but one way or another I live this situation).

Anyway, to pick up some ideas, even the initial one, I must first structure the continuation in my head, otherwise I fall back into

the "improvisation," and for this type of piece, it is more difficult.
