Hello everyone, I am Franco, I am 30 years old and unfortunately I am not a pianist at all, unfortunately. I have been attracted to pianos since I was little but unfortunately I never had the opportunity to learn at a private school or a conservatory; my parents could not afford it, but my attraction to that wonderful sound grew more and more. I used to walk past the shop windows in my town, and while my friends were looking at stuff, toys, and shoes, I was drooling over the window of the only shop in my town that sold pianos; I passed by every day, every day I felt a calling for those keys. I remember that with my first job at the age of 14, I managed to buy a Bontempi with about 32 keys; I have always only sketched out a few little tunes but never anything concrete. Unfortunately, this story does not have a happy ending; I have reached 30 years old and the attraction is still alive, but I am still at the same level; I am slowly giving up. I see many video tutorials but nothing really manages to make me understand everything; unfortunately, now I wouldn't have the time to take courses—I work and in a little while I will start a family. I also bought some online guides but with poor results. Now I would like to entrust myself to this forum; I see in many topics that you are very close, like one big family, which is an excellent thing. I am in your hands, guys; I hope some kind soul can at least here guide me well. I don't want to get to playing Chopin (maybe), but perhaps raising my level so that I can use both hands on the keyboard would already be a great satisfaction.
