It might be the front gasket that has swollen a little; remove the key and look at its back: it is enough to slightly reshape those strips of red felt you see, where the metal tip of the frame slides.

First try, without removing the key, to manually return the key to position with your hands; force the up and down movement several times and see if it settles into place.

Well, it could depend on many things

1) lift the lever by pushing it with a finger under the escapement lever. The key, this way, will be free to oscillate. See if the key moves with maximum freedom. If this does not happen, it is the front or central bushing. Remedy: take the key with your thumb on top and index finger underneath and force it laterally while oscillating. If it does not depend on the key ....phase 2

2) it could be that the lever has an obstruction. if you are able to disassemble it, look at the pivot joint. It must fall under its own weight. If this is not the case, the pin must be changed.

3) IF it does not depend on what has been explained so far, disassemble the hammer, after having ensured that it does not touch the adjacent ones during its stroke. Check its pivot joint.
