Good morning, in your opinion, are used instruments coming from recording studios worth considering or are they very worn out? I am asking because I received an offer from a recording studio that is liquidating its equipment due to business closure, but I don't know if it's better to go with a private individual who has kept the instrument in their home.
Normally, pianos in recording studios are used much less than those at home. Of course, you must always check the condition because it is not guaranteed that it isn't a 50-year-old piano bought second-hand by the studio itself. Regarding humidity conditions, recording studios are notoriously strictly controlled and air-conditioned specifically to avoid this problem, as they have very expensive microphones.
