I don't love Vasco Rossi, but it is certain that no one ever expected, from him, lyrics like Mogol's or Sinfield's. Vasco Rossi has always written these things, in this way, no more and no less. I'm telling you this but I don't guarantee its reliability, they are rumors...

Rumors from the people have told me that when Vasco Rossi was not yet "Vasco Rossi," he was invited to a small village in the Viterbo area for a concert. He was offered dinner in a trattoria near the square where he was supposed to perform. Imagine the expenses: stage, audio/video service, etc., etc. The concert was canceled because by the end of dinner he was dead drunk and couldn't stand up on his own.

It's certainly a big lie, it's not like him....

Poor us... Poor Italy!

They always have environments, orchestras, and specialized staff at their disposal; there is no way out of it.

Why not organize an internal contest on the site to produce a beautiful song? We have the composers, we have the arrangers, the singers, we can find the lyricists... What more are we looking for? Let's call for the most beautiful compositions and create a great CD!

I have always thought that Vasco Rossi is very overrated. Beyond the music, which isn't all bad, I cannot highly esteem a singer who clearly DOES NOT know how to sing (nor write, for that matter =P). I believe he owes practically everything to his arranger and the musicians in his band, who are at a much higher level than him.
