Hello everyone, I am a new user of the forum, found by chance while wandering the internet looking for information...
I am a videomaker as a hobby and for some time now almost professionally; in the past, I have also composed many pieces for piano (always kept closed in a drawer!!) with the help of an old Technics keyboard.
Then, with the onset of work commitments, I gave everything up, but now with my new passion for filmmaking, I would like to combine these two great arts! I think that 80% of a video's effectiveness depends on the music!!
The big problem I encounter in producing music videos is the fact that, especially in a commercial context, one must use royalty-free tracks or tracks having broadcasting permission from record labels... an impossible thing!! both from a bureaucratic and financial point of view.
Well, I asked myself, why not exploit the knowledge I have in the musical field (which is not high-level, by the way, but it doesn't matter much), to produce tracks and scores for my videos using Logic Pro 9?
I use a Mac platform, but this application is currently completely unknown to me.
Can anyone point me toward a beginner course and an advanced course or a book (even a PDF)?
I am forwarding the link to my YouTube channel; if you feel like it, take a look, I always enjoy responding to your comments!
