Dearest Pianoexpert.. in the lesson on piano nomenclature, at a certain point you show the keyboard rail and one notices the right side block with a screw clearly visible screwed longitudinally into the block itself... I kindly ask you how these blocks are removed, are they also constrained to other parts that I did not see in the tutorial??

In a grand piano, the blocks are mobile and can be removed by unscrewing a split or butterfly screw located under the action rail. The right block is more important than the left one. It is responsible for regulating the travel of the frame movement and determining the hammer strike point in the treble.
When removing the action and putting it back in place, the blocks must be reinstalled if you want to determine the actual regulation of the keyboard and listen to the sound at the real strike point; otherwise, everything can be distorted.
Generally, they are independent pieces.
