hi everyone!

after a bit of absence, I am happy to return to the forum, also considering the need to stay at home, for everyone's sake.

as you know, I teach music education; I have created some video tutorials using PowerPoint for managing slides, audio, video, animations, etc. and Quick-Time to record the video of the slides and, at the same time, my narration voice. I have a problem: on some slides I inserted video clips taken from YouTube; I did a recording test and reviewed the video; the problem is that everything can be heard and seen well except for the audio of the YouTube videos; I have the impression that it is a simple settings problem; but I don't know where to tinker; for the voice I am using a microphone connected to an audio interface; and in the preferences I have indeed selected the interface as the input/output audio device.... or at least, I think I did. waiting for useful advice....

si hope you are all doing well... and I really hope this terrible dream ends soon!

good music to everyone

in the meantime I have done some research online.... if I understood correctly, quick-time doesn't actually read all audio formats; but I think I also read that perhaps this problem has been resolved; but.... while waiting for the mystery to be revealed, could you suggest some other software? thanks
