...ah, it's not mine

The Vienna libraries have never seemed up to the standard of Quantum Leap's Symphonic Orchestra. The latter are terrifying... especially the Hollywood Strings.

I would say that the responsibility for these impressions lies with those who make the demos with this library, which is why a person should not be influenced especially by the latter; I think quite the opposite, that VSL is the best, already in the solo instruments it delivers a blow to East West, moreover in the strings and not only then, the realism works very well, but precisely, it always depends on how they are used, and often the demos leave a bit to be desired; for example, the fast-played parts regarding the strings, East West fails in this, the French horns, you can even hear the attack points of the loop after a few seconds in the samples with the held note, there are many things that are not right, and even the extensions are not always adequately respected, for example, it is like this for the Symphonic choir.

Hollwood Strings has greatly improved the quality, but the sounds can be heard properly without effects, and in dry VSL is always ahead.

But perhaps they could be used simultaneously.

I use the oboe d'amore, and compared to the East West soloist it is light years ahead, not to mention the fact that I don't use the articulations simultaneously, but in a limited way, so I don't even fully exploit it.
