Hi Simone, I wanted to ask you another question and obviously it is addressed to everyone who can provide clarifications on the matter.

As I was telling you, I have a Rode NT1 condenser microphone, a MOTU 828 mk3 audio interface, and I work with Logic.

I load a musical backing track into Logic and then start recording, but when I go to listen to the output product at the end, I don't find it satisfactory because it is as if I don't hear the vocal track mixed with the backing track.

Maybe I am doing something wrong or maybe I am not adding what is necessary to make the backing track and the vocal track pleasant to the ear.

Thanks to everyone for the help and see you soon.

You have an excellent sound card. If you post the file you recorded or even better, post a zip with the Logic project, I'll fix it up for you. Anyway, we are currently fixing some bugs here on the forum, and I don't have time to make more Logic tutorials, but as soon as we have resolved these bugs, I will restart the Logic lessons and we will also talk about mastering, but obviously towards the final lessons since it is the last step of post-production and it is exactly the topic that interests you!

Post the project, I'll tell you what problems there are and I'll do the mastering of the track for you.

Regards
