My name is Alessio and it is a pleasure for me to be part of this forum!

Mine is a poor and brief story.

First of all, I registered here to better discover that magnificent instrument which is the piano.

My passion for the piano was born around September 2 years ago while listening to Einaudi. Since I like to experience music, to do so I feel the need to reproduce it, so I took my sister's small old 36-key pianola and started printing some sheet music. Initially, I played a few melodies, but I still didn't know how to read notes well (especially variations!!).

So one fine day I decided to take piano lessons from a fellow townsman, but I took only a few lessons due to lack of time. Thus, after learning at least the variations, I began to study songs more in depth.

It has been almost a year since I last touched the pianola, and I would like to push myself toward studying this instrument. A few hours ago, I was looking for used pianos and found an Ibach for 500 euros. In this regard, I ask you: for someone like me, 18 years old with very little personal financial availability, with a 36-key pianola, with the absolute impossibility of going to a conservatory because I don't know any technique or anyway don't know piano theory, is it worth buying a studio upright piano or a keyboard of those with keys similar to a piano?

Welcome: the Ibach at 500 euros is interesting. One would need to see what work should be done. It could be very good

If that piano were in good condition, it would be a good instrument on which to begin studying.
