Hello everyone,
i joined the forum today and will introduce myself briefly.
I am 42 years old, I started playing the piano at age 9 and I have played it throughout all these years, even if only out of passion. My job is in a completely different field: electrical engineering.
I have tackled various pieces from the entire classical repertoire, from Bach to Messiaen. The discovery of this latter composer, in particular, was a true revelation!
I play on a Petrof P131 piano, which I adore especially for its warm and deep sound, and just a few days ago I also got a grand piano, a Feurich P178. Speaking of this, I have already posted in the "Tuning" section.
I have three children, to whom I am obviously trying to pass on this fantastic passion. The first, 11 years old, has been studying piano for 2 years; the second is 8 and will start shortly; and the youngest, almost 3, for now is content with strumming... and I must say she does it with great effort!
Compliments to everyone for the site, for the many useful answers I have already found reading various discussions, and for the very in-depth videos.
And thank you for the answers you will give me!
