Thank you for accepting me (not with the 'accept' button) into your community..... I discovered you through searches conducted on YouTube and found your videos very interesting, I have two antique pianos, very antique, one upright and one grand piano just purchased (it is 200 cm long so I don't know if it's a baby grand or a 3/4 grand) both pianos are Bechstein brand, both are the V (5) model and were manufactured in Berlin, the upright in 1889 and the grand in 1888, I purchased the upright already completely restored and with a 5-year warranty, it has a beautiful very harmonic sound, even though I think modern "Renner" mechanical parts were installed, this makes it work very well, although I imagine it has lost the original timbre it had at birth; the grand, on the other hand, I have just purchased from a private individual and it definitely needs to be serviced, for this second piano I would like (very slowly given the costs) to manage to restore it by giving it back its original parameters, that is why I found your portal very interesting.
