I am Ilenia, I am from Palermo, I am 31 years old and I joined this site because I found the video courses on YouTube very interesting.
I would really like to be able to play the piano one day. I have approached studying several times, I have changed 3 teachers and now after more than a year I have decided to try again.
You will ask yourselves: 3 negative experiences? Well.. not exactly.. I learned many things, it wasn't wasted time but I believe that in all three something IMPORTANT was missing for me: deadlines.. I need deadlines.. it is in my nature; precisely because of this I have decided to undertake a course of study that will end level by level with an exam.
The video courses are very clear and I compliment you, I am using them to dust off my memory a bit.
That being said, I greet everyone and thank you for the help that you will want to give me in the future, I will certainly need it.

Welcome Ilenia and thank you for the compliments. Everything you say is right and denotes character and determination. "Deadlines" are important. I also set goals for myself to perform concerts and study new compositions. I try to impose a date or a period beyond which one must not go! It is a great stimulus for me, a lazy pianist! What you did with all three teachers was positive. All experiences teach, ...in my opinion... especially the negative ones.
