Hello everyone. I am Massimiliano and I am 36 years old. I started playing at 8 years old following a classical piano course. At 14, I stopped and started playing exclusively by ear. In reality, I never understood why I couldn't read sheet music correctly, maybe a bit dyslexic... who knows!!!

At 21, I attended just one year at the UM (University of Music) in Rome to improve my piano technique. Unfortunately, for some personal reasons, I did not complete the 3-year program. Since then, I haven't had any more musical "education." Currently, with my partner, I work as a piano bar performer preferring the tourist route; practically, we have been playing and singing on ships for 2 years.

I joined your forum because I have decided to learn how to tune pianos as a profession, and if I succeed, I would like to move abroad to be able to live more decently, since you don't earn much in Italy anyway.
This week I will meet a professional and with him I hope to learn the art of piano tuning and maintenance.

I have been following your video tutorials on YouTube for a few days and that is how I discovered your website/forum.

I hope I have been exhaustive and thank you for welcoming me to your forum.
