Good evening, I am Giuseppe Catanzariti, born in 1959, a music teacher at a lower secondary school for 34 years, a self-taught music and computer enthusiast; I enjoy working on MIDI backing tracks by adapting sheet music with current hits that are highly appreciated by my students and pedagogically very powerful for learning music and keeping a musical instrument constantly in their hands.

Unfortunately, this profession (the Music teacher in lower secondary school) begins too late in our school system. Our students arrive, punctually, in first year of middle school showing appreciable perceptive skills, but, regarding executive skills and specific knowledge of the discipline, total fasting. All this in light of specific programs for primary school that are well-articulated but not implementable because of those who thought exclusively about writing without thinking about how to constantly train and update the Teachers.
Forgive me, but even today "they are just words"!
