Hello everyone and thank you so much for the welcome!! Since I am here, I will spend a few words to introduce myself and let you get to know me
My name is Stefano and I am a pianist living in Milan; since I was little, I have always dedicated myself to music, specifically rock/progressive genres and more particularly to the world of keyboards, until around age 25 when I literally fell in love with jazz, blues, and the piano, which I hadn't known enough up to that point.
My experience has actually been mostly on electronic instruments, synths and keyboards with non-weighted keys, but moving subsequently to Jazz changed everything a bit.
In the past, I have always studied as a self-taught musician, but for 3 years I have been attending and studying at the Civica Jazz in Milan with some excellent teachers whom I adore, and they are gradually showing me a fascinating world of jazz and piano.
If before I used to study on non-weighted keys, now I cannot help but play on a real piano, and actually my home practice is feeling a bit cramped because I don't have a real piano, but a keyboard—albeit an excellent one—with weighted keys.
I discovered your forum after various and constant web searches in the field of piano, and I liked it immediately. I hope to be able to learn more and more and perhaps get some suggestions regarding the various doubts I have.
