Thank you and greetings to everyone. I have tried to post a question, several times, but it won't load. Does it perhaps need to be approved by the admins first?
ah... I forgot to tell you a little about myself. I am from Genoa and I am a guitarist and singer. Naturally, I strum the piano a bit; I know just enough to accompany myself while singing 4 or 5 songs from my repertoire. Unfortunately, I don't own one, so everything I know how to do with this wonderful instrument I learned before and after rehearsals with my group, playing on the electric piano present in the rehearsal room.
However, I am very fascinated by the piano and I would like to have one, sooner or later.
I found you because lately I happened to "lay my hands" on two wonderful instruments: a very rare 1901 Steinway, fully decorated and magnificently restored, which is about to be sold for over a million euros (it is currently in the lounge of a restaurant belonging to a friend of mine) and an Erard from the second half of the 1800s used by Giuseppe Verdi during his stays in Genoa. This latter one, unfortunately, is not in good condition and would need some work!
