A while ago someone told me it is a symbol linked to Japanese tradition, I don't remember well. Others said they had seen it on various pianos... Maybe we will find someone here who knows it, let's wait.

There, it could be a mark they print on refurbished ones. The piano was indeed like new. Let's see if someone who has a refurbished Yamaha finds it on theirs
