What differences are there between a minuet and a rondo?

"The performance of the third and fourth movements of the Serenade op. 525, Eine kleine Nachtmusik, by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Salzburg 1756 - Vienna 1791) serves conductor Raffaele Napoli to illustrate the peculiar characteristics of the minuet and the rondo.

Both of these musical forms, which base their rhythmic structure on the namesake dances, were used by many classical composers of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries as parts of their symphonies. The minuet has the characteristic rhythmic form of a moderate triple meter, i.e., not very fast, while the peculiarity of the rondo is the recurring theme in the secondary and conclusive parts of the musical discourse."
