What is the Difference Between Scream and Growl?

Growling is based on a very deep and low, guttural sound typical of death, grind, and other particularly harsh genres

Screaming has many variants and different ways of execution; there is the one performed in falsetto (see Judas Priest) and the more vicious type like Jamie Hooper.

I think this one is the most harmful; it seems to me that singers who use this type of scream strain their voices far too much...
