It would seem to be something like this; the point is that in the third "chorus", when the vocals come in, the drums do not play the triplet and everything runs smoothly; instead, in the other grooves, it seems a bit wider than a triplet...

The cycle closes every 14 beats, the subdivision within doesn't always seem equal to me. A beautiful challenge nonetheless!

I agree with Leo, perhaps its beauty lies precisely in this "irregularity within regularity"

If you divide 8/4 into 4/4+4/4 and divide every quarter note into sixteenth notes, you get first measure = 1234 - 1234 - 1234 - 1234 second measure = 1234 - 1234 - 1234 - 123! and then a measure of 6/4. So actually it's 4/4 - 15/16 - 6/4 ! , at least that's how it seems to me

intrigued by this groove... if I haven't simplified it too much, I would write it like this...
It seems to me that even with variations, this remains the skeleton
